Downtown Mall

Located on the historic Downtown Mall, we are in the heart of Charlottesville – offering the ideal location to entertain clients and host out of town guests.

What was formerly East Main Street was closed to traffic and converted into a pedestrian-only mall, designed by pioneering landscape architect Lawrence Halprin, in 1976. Today one of the nation’s oldest and most successful pedestrian malls, it has become the “community living room,” a vibrant public space where Red Pump Kitchen is proud to be a favorite “community dining room,” so to speak.

Before or after you dine with us, make time to explore the galleries, shops and culinary delights around the mall. See why we love being in the heart of this dynamic part of historic Charlottesville.
